This page describes both the GFlick website and the GFlick software, because they are separate things with separate privacy properties. Neither one gathers information about you.
No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising
No cookies and no browser storage
No accounts, and no form to submit anything
No fonts, scripts, or assets loaded from third parties
This website
The site is a set of static files - HTML, CSS, one small script, and self-hosted fonts. There is no application server, no database, and nothing that could store a record about you. The fonts are served from this domain, so loading a page makes no request to any other company.
The one script on the site reads navigator.platform to guess whether you are on Windows or macOS, so the download button can name the right build. That check happens in your browser, the answer is never sent anywhere, and nothing is written to storage. Both downloads stay visible either way.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical details required to deliver a page - your IP address, the requested URL, and your user agent - and keeps aggregate security and performance logs. We do not add analytics on top of this, and we do not access, export, or receive per-visitor data from it.
Release archives and the source code are hosted on GitHub. Every download button and source link on this site sends you to github.com, and from that point GitHub is the one serving you. GitHub records its own request data, described in the GitHub privacy statement .
We do not receive download counts tied to individuals, and there is no referral or affiliate tracking on those links.
The GFlick software
The agent, tray, and CLI run entirely on your computer. They send no telemetry, no crash reports, and no usage statistics, and they do not check for updates. GFlick has no server component and no account system, so there is nothing for it to report to.
What it writes locally is your own configuration: per-user preferences stored in your operating system's standard application-data location, and - only when you ask for it - settings written to your mouse's own memory. Both stay on your machine and your hardware. Uninstalling is covered in the setup documentation, including what is kept and what is removed.

Children
GFlick is a utility for computer mice and is not directed at children. Since we collect nothing from anyone, we hold no information about children either.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Because the site is versioned in public, you can also see the full history of this page in the repository. GFlick is experimental software under active development; should a future version ever need to collect something, that would be described here and would not be enabled without asking you first.
